From March 11 to 13, 2026, the highly anticipated InterBattery Korea was grandly held at COEX Convention & Exhibition Center in Seoul. As a global bellwether for the battery industry, this year’s exhibition reached a new record in scale, with 5 major exhibition halls and over 2,000 booths in use. It attracted more than 600 enterprises from 14 countries worldwide to participate, and the number of professional visitors neared 100,000, making the venue a bustling hub of unprecedented vibrancy.
This year’s InterBattery is more than a grand event for industry exchanges; it is a stage where cutting-edge technologies shine brightly.
The race for the mass production of all-solid-state batteries emerged as the biggest highlight. South Korea’s three battery giants – Samsung SDI, LG Energy Solution and SK On – all unveiled solid-state battery prototypes tailored for different application fields, signaling that the next-generation battery technology is accelerating its transition from the laboratory to mass production.
Meanwhile, the expansion of AI infrastructure and new tracks in mobility, breakthroughs in battery safety and ultra-fast charging technologies, and the deepening of whole-industry-chain collaboration and international cooperation have jointly outlined a new blueprint for the future development of the battery industry. The linkage of a complete ecosystem, spanning from materials and equipment to battery cells and applications, has become a distinct feature of this exhibition.
At this top-tier gathering of the global battery industry chain, Chinese enterprises remain one of the most important participating forces. As a representative enterprise in China’s intelligent equipment sector, Infor made a splendid appearance at Booth B734, showcasing in an all-round way its fruitful achievements in deepening the Korean market over the past year, as well as its technological innovations and product iterations during this period.
During the exhibition, Infor’s booth was constantly swarmed with visitors seeking consultations and exchanges. Customers from South Korea and across the globe expressed great interest in Infor’s newly launched sand grinding technologies. In particular, Infor’s experience in building large-scale production lines locally in South Korea became a focal point of attention for numerous customers. The team of Infor Korea provided detailed explanations and in-depth communications for the guests on site, and their professional and pragmatic services won widespread praise.
Infor’s star product – the high-end vertical sand mill – emerged as one of the eye-catching products at the exhibition. Boasting advanced grinding processes, stable operational performance and outstanding energy efficiency, this equipment attracted a large number of professional visitors to stop and watch. Many customers expressed strong intentions of cooperation on the spot and planned to visit Infor Korea for technical exchanges and experimental tests.
In addition to the vertical sand mill, Infor also exhibited a series of core products including dry sand mills, AI intelligent sand mills and single-wall carbon nanotube equipment. With leading technological advantages and strong process adaptability, these innovative equipment have brought brand-new solutions to the industry, further consolidating Infor’s leading position in the global material grinding equipment sector.
Infor reaped abundant rewards from this exhibition. It not only reunited with many long-term Korean customers and consolidated stable cooperative relationships, but also made acquaintance with a large number of new customers, laying a solid foundation for the in-depth expansion of the Korean market in the future.
Notably, Infor reached a strategic cooperation agreement with Sinozoc in South Korea at this exhibition, and the two parties will jointly build a joint laboratory. Focusing on the application of sand mills and zirconia beads, both sides will carry out in-depth collaboration and push the product performance to a new height with premium services.
