SEVCPOWER Solid-State Battery Project Phase I Put into Production, Leading the Industry into a New Era

    On November 10th, Yibin, Sichuan, was abuzz with excitement due to a grand ceremony! The commissioning ceremony of the Solid-State Battery Project (Phase I) of Sichuan SEVCPOWER Technology Co., Ltd. was solemnly held here. This is not only a milestone moment for SEVCPOWER, but also an important symbol of the solid-state battery industry stepping into a new stage!


    At the commissioning ceremony, gongs and drums resounded, creating a lively atmosphere. Many experts and well-known enterprises in the field of solid-state batteries attended the event, adding a strong professional atmosphere and industry influence to the ceremony, which also indirectly proved SEVCPOWER's status and appeal in the industry.

    The ceremony featured a rich and meaningful agenda: leaders of SEVCPOWER gave a detailed introduction to the project; government leaders delivered blessings and explained policy support; and the speech by Academician Ouyang Minggao brought great insights to the guests present. The academician's professional opinions and forward-looking perspectives enabled everyone to gain a deeper understanding of the technological development and market potential of solid-state batteries.


    As an invited guest, Infor Machinery attended the commissioning ceremony. Next, Infor will carry out relevant business connection and cooperation with SEVCPOWER.     SEVCPOWER was incubated by Sichuan New Energy Vehicle Innovation Center Co., Ltd. (Academician Ouyang Minggao's Workstation). Headquartered in Yibin, Sichuan, the company focuses on the R&D, production, and sales of solid-state lithium-ion batteries and solid electrolyte materials. It is an innovative technology enterprise integrating technological innovation and industrial application.


    SEVCPOWER has assembled a high-level R&D and production team. Professor Ouyang Minggao serves as the chief scientist of the company, and the core expert team includes professors and experts from Tsinghua University and top domestic and foreign institutions. The company has attracted more than 200 talents, including postdoctoral researchers, doctors, and masters. At present, SEVCPOWER has applied for 113 core patents related to solid-state batteries, holds 54 leading core technologies, and undertakes 4 national key special projects.

    With the rapid development of sulfide all-solid-state battery technology in China, the scale of cell trial production has gradually expanded, and the market demand for sulfide solid electrolytes has risen sharply. Based on the judgment of market volume development trends, SEVCPOWER took the lead in deploying a 100-ton-class sulfide solid electrolyte mass production line, overcoming process and equipment difficulties in key links such as mixing, sintering, and refinement.


    In terms of production capacity, SEVCPOWER has currently built a GWh-level high-safety battery production line, a 20-ton sulfide solid electrolyte pilot line, and a 30MWh sulfide all-solid-state battery pilot line. It is investing 3 billion yuan in Yibin, Sichuan, to build a solid-state battery project, with a planned 4GWh high-safety battery production line. In addition, the company's 100-ton-class sulfide solid electrolyte production line is expected to be put into production by the end of 2025, and the 0.1GWh sulfide all-solid-state battery intelligent manufacturing platform is expected to be put into use by the end of 2025.
